Chicken BBQ

February 5th (Saturday) – Chicken BBQ - $7.50 per person – Menu includes ½ chicken, potatoes, beans, and roll. Serving begins at noon. Take-outs will be available, or feel free to stay and eat inside the clubhouse. *** Be sure and make plans to show up early because at 10:00 a.m. the Ironwood Sno-Goers will be sponsoring a mock snowmobile rescue. This will be put on by Warners Fire Department Deputy Chief Brian Kiteveles and Baldwinsville Fire Department Battalion Chief Tony McIntyre. They will be simulating 2 sled accidents involving 3 patients with one being a head-on collision. A viewing perimeter will be set up so that everyone will be able to watch. There will be a briefing beforehand and a discussion afterwards. The whole thing should take about 1 to 1-½ hours. We hope everyone will attend as you will gain new insight and perspective in learning what safety measures are needed to help yourself, help others and help the rescuers if an accident should occur. Any questions you may have about this day's events may be answered by contacting Jamie Kellogg @ 857-4663 or Rick Lees @ 635-9826.

New members are always welcome. Members receive a monthly Newsletter during the season. We maintain the local trail system. If one landowner gets up set with snowmobilers, it could ruin the winter for all of us! There is always scheduled events and rides. We also sponsor Snowmobile Safety Courses for youth and adults.  Please visit the rest of our web site for more information. To find out what else is happening, check out the News Letter
